Panorama Mishap

Back when I first started to really get into photography, I attended the local Worldwide Photowalk in 2010. I had intended to try to get a few panorama shots of the building downtown before heading over to Griffith Homeplace for the second part of the walk. The first one I did of the old bank came out great ([link]). This one, however, did not.

First of all, I didn't realize that the road/buildings kind of slope downhill a bit depending on where you are standing. I was also walking down the sidewalk a few feet after every shot as well. I noticed this as I was taking pictures and tried to angel up a little as I took each shot. That didn't work, thus making it nearly impossible for me to get the imges to mash up correctly...a feat that I have only just now acheived since I have better software now. So, the only major goof is that the front wheel of the motorcycle is gone.

Second, there seems to be an apparent attack of dopplegangers going on, aside from the one-wheeled motorcycle. She was with our group, but took off on her own once we got started. She frequently ended up in my shots, and I didn't noticed she was in the pano photos until I uploaded them from the camera.

So...here is what I leaned: Had I been standing still, the pictures would have come out more even and the motorcycle wouldn't have lost it's wheel. I still would have had Doppleganger City going on, but...what can you do.
